Thoughts of a Georgian

workit2
ok so down here in georgia my friends have been harping on me for using social networking sites , i.e.  twitter, blogger ,downelink ,myspace.  they say they dont see the sense in those kinds of sites.when u can just hang out with a person for real and know the real them .now i totally agree with them  but blogging is totally different

I feel that it is extremely hard to fake your persona and your thoughts. there are tons of benefits of online social networks that i personally adore but of course other just cross the line of intrusion like facebook! uggh ! NOW I CAN UNDERSTAND THEIR FRUSTRATION WITH THAT SITE!.sarah

they dont care to understand the need to dictate every aspect of your life to people who probably does not even care. hell for all my mableton peeps care their home is their myspace! their culture is their blog ,and their hello is their email. every time i come down south i am always reminded of the simple things in life that normally go unnoticed in fast paced nyc. it also enables me to be around real down to earth people who actually care about your well being and not the popularity they can gain from u hanging out with them, boy genius

they are not worried about what house your in or whats the next party u will be hosting. my peeps are satisfied with just a phone call letting them know u have gotten home safely . alot of the traits of my down south friends will always stick with me because down here they are not afraid to be human. b

Down here in georgia those types of things are not needed because down here we hang! they dont have to resort to social networking sites to get to know people because down here they meet and greet. they invite people to their homes rather then out their homes. they dont mind giving a helping hand or lending a shoulder when needed. they surely dont mind giving a cup of sugar!. who needs social networking sites when u have friends like this blue
